Manmohan Educational Trust — MET App & Website

This action is permanent.

Deleting your account removes your profile, membership status, saved preferences, volunteer hours and event RSVPs. Donation receipts and 80G records required under Indian tax law are retained for the statutory period (currently 8 years) in an anonymised form linked only to your PAN.

Option 1 — Delete from the App

  1. Open the MET app and sign in.
  2. Go to Me → Settings → Account.
  3. Tap Delete my account and confirm with your password.
  4. Your account is queued for deletion within 7 days.

Option 2 — Email Us

Send an email from your registered address to:

met9mumbai@gmail.com

Subject: Account Deletion Request. We confirm receipt within 48 hours and complete deletion within 7 working days.

Option 3 — Submit a Request Here

What happens & when

  • 0–48 h: we acknowledge your request.
  • Within 7 days: profile, membership, RSVPs, preferences deleted.
  • 30 days: backups purged.
  • Retained (legal): 80G receipts, FCRA records — anonymised.
